At Agilitas Energy, we are committed to delivering high-quality solar and battery storage projects in the Northeast. As a key member of our project team, you will play a critical role in directing the construction of these projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the build, including schedule, budget, contractors, material deliveries, job-site safety, quality control, design and permit adherence, and construction reporting to the project team.
- Assist in the development of project cost estimates and define scope of work and requirements for each project.
- Identify, track and ensure milestones are completed according to schedule and create bid solicitation packages for subcontractor work.
- Assist with negotiating vendor/subcontractor agreements and daily management of subcontractor productivity and performance against schedule.
- Lead on-site meetings with clients, subcontractors, utility representatives and other stakeholders and initiate and maintain relationships with clients, building owners, contractors and local community.
- Complete required project reporting, logs and maintain documentation, some of which may require computer entry, and execute site QA/QC activities.
- Implement and maintain all site safety standards and procedures, identifying gaps in safety standards as well as safety risks and providing recommendations to management.
- Secure permits from local authorities to commence and complete site activities and perform other duties as assigned by Agilitas.
Requirements
- Demonstrated construction management experience, including scope management, project scheduling and budgeting, and a successful track record in management of similar commercial or utility-scale projects.
- Experience in construction means and methods, codes and standards, particularly electrical work and safety management, including OSHA, NFPA and National Electrical Code, and incorporation of safety into the daily work routine.
- Understanding of all facets of a construction project's lifecycle and strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to deliver creative solutions and self-driven, highly motivated individual able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously, strong work ethic, detail-oriented and focus on task or initiative follow through.
- Ability to read and understand electrical, mechanical, civil and/or architectural drawings and knowledge of commissioning requirements/procedures and ability to use technical equipment.
- Experience with project closeout and ability to recognize and prevent deficiencies during construction, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Microsoft Project and Excel) and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- OSHA 10-hour Construction Card (30-hour preferred), Procore, AutoCAD or Bluebeam experience a plus, driving record must meet Company insurance standards and valid state Driver's License.
