Responsibilities:
• Lead support efforts, ensuring quick resolution of issues related to Java Spring and Ruby on Rails web services.
• Enhance monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and AWS CloudWatch.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and collaborate with engineering teams for long-term solutions.
• Act as the primary escalation contact, coordinating and mentoring support engineers.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Has 8 years of experience in application support or a related technical role.
• Proficient in troubleshooting Java Spring Web Services, Ruby on Rails, and REST APIs.
• Experienced with AWS services, including Aurora, MQ, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
• Skilled in containerized services (Docker, ECS/Fargate) and database support for PostgreSQL.
• Familiar with monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and Scout.
• Excels in communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders and possesses strong analytical skills.
