Description
The IT Specialist will provide various forms of computer-related technical assistance to improve the effeciency of work completed by all employees through the use of technology. Duties and responsibilities include, but are limited to :
- Serve as the agency's technical expert for the development, implementaion, management and support of computer and technical systems and equipment
- the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, networks, and equipment
- the ability to research solutions to unfamiliar technicla issues and concerns
- Install, monitor and troubleshoot software and hardware of computers systems, phones, and copiers
- Implement security measures to meet all requirements of the agecny's funding sources, regulations, and requirements
- Monitor security certificates and company compliance to security requirements, including HIPAA
- Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating technical equipment; recommend appropriate replacement
- Maintain accurate technology equipment inventory
- Provide assistance to all employees with technology-related issues, in an appropriate and helpful manner
Position Requirements
This position requires the following physical requirements : regular use of hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, frequent listening and talking with others to assist them, may require long periods of standing, sitting, crawling, reaching, stooping, kneeling and other movements to install and monitor systems. Visual requiremnts include close and long distance vision.
