About You
AGM is seeking a talented and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team, focused on redesigning the Omeo from the ground up. This role is critical in enhancing the electro-mechanical functionality of the product to improve user experience, performance, and durability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Collaboration: Use SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models, simulations, and prototypes for testing and validation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams including electrical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
- Project Coordination: Oversee fabrication processes and develop methods for testing and inspection of components, products, and systems.
- Documentation: Generate and modify detailed drawings and solid models using SolidWorks; write clear assembly and testing instructions.
- ISO Compliance: Ensure adherence to ISO Design and Development procedures for all AGM controlled products.
- Travel: Participate in moderate travel for customer meetings, vendor relations, and trade shows.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from an accredited university.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of mechanical design engineering experience preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in SolidWorks; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication skills.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to talk, hear, and sit frequently, with occasional standing, walking, and handling objects. Duties may involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The role requires lifting/moving up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally. Good eyesight (with or without correction) and hand-eye coordination are essential.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
- This position requires U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency, or status as a U.S. Person as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
- This is an on-site role, and remote work arrangements are not available. Candidates must be willing and able to work at our facility during designated working hours.
Core Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
40.00 hours per week, excluding breaks, paid holidays and time off.
Salary : $5,250
