Position Overview
As a Building Control and Energy Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in advancing our mission to transform buildings into intelligent and energy efficient spaces. Your expertise in building systems will be the driving force behind optimizing our clients' environments for efficiency, comfort, and performance.
Requirements
Configure, program, install, troubleshoot, and maintain building automation equipment such as sensors, controllers, devices, etc. Perform routine maintenance on installed building systems to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with project teams to design and implement HVAC systems, building automation systems, lighting systems, etc.
Provide professional and technical support and training to clients and end-users.
Utilize energy usage data to collaborate with clients to reduce energy consumption through comprehensive scheduling techniques
Generate reports and indicate achievable goals for facility energy reduction
Daily/Weekly travel to client facilities in the northeast Ohio area to ensure proper facility operation
Attend training as approved by the Operations Manager, such as Niagara/Tridium Technical Certification, Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP), HVAC Basics Course, and more.

Requirements
- College degree (engineering or computer science) preferred
- HVAC control system experience preferred
- Willingness to attain building automation software certifications within one year
- Independent and driven worker with high attention to detail
- High sense of character and ethics
- Valid driver’s license
