We're Agora, an early-stage Fintech startup based in NY on a mission to revolutionize the way Real Estate firms and investors manage their capital. Our Investment Management software help companies raise and preserve more capital by automating their back-office operations, increasing their investors' satisfaction, and providing them with advanced tools for better marketing efforts.

As the SDR Outbound Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in developing and scaling a high-performing team responsible for driving top-of-the-funnel activity. You’ll manage and mentor a team of SDRs, empowering them to consistently exceed quotas and ensure a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities for our Sales team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about leadership, data-driven processes, and thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead by Example: Personally drive outbound outreach and consistently book qualified meetings through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and any other relevant channels. As a leader, you’re expected to demonstrate the same high standards and results you hold your team to.
  • Lead and Manage SDRs: Oversee a team of SDRs, providing guidance, training, and ongoing development to ensure individual and team success.
  • Pipeline Generation: Drive top-of-the-funnel activity by managing outbound prospecting strategies and tactics to meet and exceed lead generation and pipeline goals.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and analyze SDR performance metrics (meetings booked, conversion rates, etc.) to identify areas for improvement, implementing targeted coaching as needed.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Collaborate with HR to recruit, onboard, and train new SDRs, ensuring they are fully equipped to succeed in their role.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies and messaging, and deliver feedback on campaign effectiveness.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously refine and improve outbound processes, scripts, and playbooks to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate tracking of all activities in CRM systems, providing reports to senior management on team performance and pipeline generation.
  • Work Ethic: First and foremost, we are looking for a hardworking, dedicated individual who will do whatever it takes to make the team and themselves successful. You must be driven to go above and beyond to achieve results and inspire the same mindset in your team.


What are we looking for?


  • Experience: 2 years of experience as an SDR, with 1 years in a leadership or team lead role in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of SDRs to achieve and surpass KPIs.
  • Proven Success: A track record of overachievement in an outbound sales or lead generation role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Tech-savvy: Familiar with outbound sales technologies and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesloft, ZoomInfo) and an ability to leverage them to optimize team performance.
  • Data-driven: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and coach the team based on insights.
