AGRA is looking for a Sales Estimator to prepare accurate estimates for projects by gathering information and analyzing important metrics. AGRA is a family owned company that has been in the Merrill community since 1962. Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates for design and fabrication of equipment and systems.
• Coordinate, schedule and expedite service and contract work to ensure the completion of sales obligations and customer satisfaction.
• Help develop short and long term strategies for AGRA to maximize opportunities for its product line and other opportunities within the agricultural industry.
• Identify, pursue and convert leads on potential projects within existing agricultural markets and AGRA standard product line.
• Identify, analyze and pursue new and existing business partnerships with other contractors, subcontractors and vendors within AGRA’s product line and the existing and emerging agriculture and renewable fuel industries to allow the Company to meet strategic objectives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers via business meetings, phone conversations, presentations, etc.
• Maintain proper documentation of sales proposals and pre-project related efforts.
• Develop detailed bid packages for potential projects to include all AGRA products.
• Complete the schedule, budget and price tracking request forms once an order is received and distribute through formal channels.
• Help implement the use of the sales and estimating policy and procedure within AGRA’s ERP program.
• Meet with Engineering to transfer the project once a sale is complete.
• Meet with Engineering Project department to ensure the contracted specifications are being met and schedules are being maintained, and the designs and / or processes do not deviate from what was sold and agreed upon with the customer or internally.

Skills

• Proven experience as estimator or similar position
• Comfortable with fabrication drawings
• Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
• Thoroughness and reliability
• Excellent organizational skills
• Microsoft Suite
