We are seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud Finance SME (Finance Architect) with expertise in General Ledger (GL) management to lead financial system implementations, optimizations, and support within the Oracle Cloud ERP environment. The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in designing, configuring, and optimizing the GL module, ensuring seamless integration with other financial modules, and driving best practices in financial reporting and accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Oracle Cloud GL Implementation & Configuration
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of the General Ledger (GL) module in Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Define and manage chart of accounts, accounting hierarchies, and multi-ledger structures.
- Ensure seamless integration of GL with other Oracle Cloud Finance modules (AP, AR, FA, CM, and Projects).
- Support multi-currency and multi-entity financial operations.
- Financial Process Optimization & Automation
- Streamline financial close, consolidations, and reporting processes within Oracle Cloud GL.
- Implement automated journal entries, intercompany transactions, and reconciliation solutions.
- Define and enforce best practices in financial governance, compliance, and internal controls.
- Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to align GL processes with business objectives.
- Partner with CFOs, Controllers, and key stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into system solutions.
- Provide guidance on financial data structures, reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and optimize financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports within Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Leverage Oracle Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), OTBI, Smart View, and BI Publisher for analytics.
- Ensure accurate financial data extraction, validation, and reconciliation for reporting needs.

System Support, Upgrades & Enhancements
- Lead Oracle Cloud ERP upgrades, patches, and performance enhancements for financial systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve GL-related system issues, ensuring business continuity.
- Provide training and documentation for end users and finance teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in Oracle Financials, with expertise in Oracle Cloud General Ledger (GL).
- Strong background in finance, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP implementations, configurations, and support.
- Expertise in multi-ledger, multi-currency, intercompany, and financial consolidation.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with financial reporting tools such as FRS, Smart View, BI Publisher, and OTBI.
- Excellent stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Oracle Cloud Finance Certification (Preferred but not mandatory).
