Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for CAPEX Tech Infrastructure projects, including data center planning and deployment.
- Consolidate infrastructure needs with automation and project teams for streamlined execution.
- Rack, stack, and configure switches and servers, coordinating with global Tech and OT teams.
- Ensure best-in-class Tech solutions, including Stentophone and camera systems, by collaborating with global product owners.
- Oversee Tech and OT infrastructure deployment with a hands-on approach in solution architecture and technical consulting (not just a PM role).
- Ensure compliance with GSK and Marietta standards for cabling and asset management.
- Plan and deploy Wi-Fi networks, ensuring correct installation of APs, switches, and controllers.
- Manage asset deployment, including switches, servers, IoT devices, APs, and WLCs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 10 years of IT/OT infrastructure experience, with 5 years of hands-on data center setup.
- Strong experience in IT infrastructure deployment (hands-on expertise required).
- Ability to read and interpret network and site layout drawings (Fiber, LAN/WAN).
- Proficiency in racking, stacking, and troubleshooting switches and servers.
- Basic understanding of switch and server configurations to assist with troubleshooting.
