Summary:
AgReserves, Inc. is seeking a reliable IT Security Analyst to resolve complex security issues in creative and effective ways with a high level of quality. The Security Analyst will optimize information security systems, tools, and information, as well as anticipate obstacles and needs to secure the organization against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction of information.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security alerts, incidents, and events.
- Identify potential security vulnerabilities, recommend appropriate mitigation strategies, collaborate with IT teams to respond to and resolve.
- Assist with the implementation of security measures and interface with company employees to help ensure the cyber-security safety of the Organization's information and assets.
- Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company information and that the information security aligns with the needs of the business and an accepted level of risks.
- Recommend security policies to address security needs.
- Participate in cross-functional task force teams to address security issues and implement improvements.
- Apprise the company of new security risks, impactful to the business.
- Participate in vulnerability scanning/reporting and penetration testing as assigned.
- Assist in developing and implementing log management and correlation.
- Provide support, guidance, orientation, educational programs, and on-going communication to help security awareness.
- Monitor compliance with approved policies and standards.
- Investigate, report and escalate potential violations of unauthorized access.
- Upkeep ongoing education to stay current on industry-known cyber threats and security best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Cyber Security or other relevant field.
- Industry recognized network or security-related certification desired.
- 1 years of practical and basic network security-related experience.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, cyber security knowledge and concepts.
- Solid demonstrated interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Some travel, overtime, after hours and on-call support on critical business needs.
