Summary :
This position will be responsible for the design, implementation, and monitoring of security policies to support business initiatives and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate should be able to drive compliance initiatives, and properly communicate risks and security issues. This individual will also have primary responsibility for network security policies, IPS systems, and Incident Management. This position requires the ability to learn quickly and work independently, with minimal supervision. This role operates on a hybrid work model.
Principal Responsibilities :
- Monitor networks for potential security issues
- Maintain and enforce incident response policies and procedures
- Document security issues and incidents and perform investigations
- Implement and maintain security awareness training for employees
- Perform vulnerability scans and risk mitigation
- Maintain breach response procedures and policies
- Design and implement regulatory compliance policies and procedures such as GDPR
- Assist Legal with Security questionnaires
- Assist with tickets
- Other Duties as assigned in I.T.
