Summary:
AgReserves, Inc. is seeking a Tax Analyst to support the preparation of sales & use tax returns, property tax accrual and other filings. This role will ensure the company is in good standing by filing accurate and timely reports with local, state, and federal jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation of sales and use tax returns and other filings (e.g. fuel excise tax, environmental fees, vehicle)
- Prepare sales and use tax registration applications.
- May prepare monthly property tax accruals and reconciliations of accrual accounts.
- Assist in preparing documentation in tax audits and other inquiries.
- Research issues to comply with tax law and tax savings opportunities.
- Crosstrain and support as back-up to team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required. Master's degree or relevant certification/license a plus.
- 1 years experience in corporate tax accounting.

Proficiency with MS tools with ability to learn other technical systems/program/software.
- Self-motivated, high level of integrity and work ethic, works well with others and independently.
- Knowledge of US GAAP.
- Occasional travel to field locations and for continued education opportunities.
- Ability to accommodate occasional extended work hours during "busy season", to meet deadlines per business needs.
- This is an in-office position - eligible candidates must be able to work on-site at the SLC corporate office, Monday-Friday, during standard business hours.
