Wysocki Family Farms is seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our farm team in Bancroft/Plainfield, WI! We are hiring for both Farm Tenders and Operators in this full-time role, offering a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a passion for agriculture or those eager to learn more about farming. Whether you're a seasoned operator or just starting in the industry, we provide training in various farm operations and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Farm Tender:
Scoop and haul potatoes
Assist with storage needs by operating conveyor systems to load/unload potatoes
Ensure timely delivery of fertilizer to the fields
Perform basic preventative maintenance in the shop as directed
Operate a variety of agricultural equipment, including bulk trucks, pilers, small tractors, pay loaders, and forklifts
Operator:
Operate large agricultural machinery such as tractors, planters, and harvesters
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
Assist with various field operations and farm activities as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Semi-driving experience (CDL preferred but not required for Farm Tenders)
Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
Ability to obtain a Pesticide License within 3-6 months of hire
Basic math and reading skills for product instructions
Knowledge of using common hand tools
Ability to learn and use basic maintenance tracking software
