What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research Agronomist position at AGRI-Alliance?
Wysocki Family Farms is seeking a Research Agronomist to study soil and a variety of crops to improve yield and quality. Role accountabilities include farming crops for research purposes. Accountability managing field trials using standard project methodologies, collecting and documenting data and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders during each phase of the projects.
The chosen candidate will have a passion to grow, harvest and study crops.

Key Accountabilities:
- Coordinate field strip trial research projects and manage the field work for the strip trials
- Collect and manage research data, including planning, tracking, analyzing, preparing and presenting findings
- Serve as an expert crop, soil and sustainability advisor internally and externally
- Communicate with various stakeholders consistently throughout each step of the crop trial
- Improve lab processes to gain efficiencies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or related field
- Basic understanding of farm technology and data controls
- Pesticide license (required during employment)
