What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Counter Representative position at Agri Center?
Agri Center is looking for a Parts Counter Representative to join our growing team. At Agri Center the Parts Counter Representative provides exceptional customer service through the selling of parts and assists in inventory management.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Interact with all contacts in a professional, timely, and courteous manner.
- Build and maintain customer relationships.
- Provided needed parts solutions to customers.
- Prepare quotes for price and availability to internal and external customers.
- Assists Parts Manager in analyzing existing inventory levels, customer demand, and market trends to maintain appropriate and profitable inventory balance.
- Assist with returns and warranty procedures, including filing and tracking claims, and following up with claims.
- May assist with shipping/receiving and loading/unloading equipment.
- Assist in stocking shelves and cabinets.
- Additional responsibilities as determined by Parts Manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Excellent people skills and ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Professional telephone manners.
- Ability to work with a team.
- Positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to equipment.
- Computer skills.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years previous parts sales or sales experience.
- Ag Equipment or Powersports knowledge.
- Previous business systems software experience.
