JOB SUMMARY:
Hamlin Water, an affiliate of Agri Industries, is searching for a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager is a key role responsible for identifying, developing, and executing strategies to drive business growth and revenue generation. This role involves prospecting for new opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of business development initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Business Strategy: Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company goals and market trends
- Opportunity Identification: Identify, qualify, and prioritize new business opportunities, including new markets, products, and services
- Water Sourcing: Identify, develop, and secure new or existing water sources aligned with company goals
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, acting as a trusted advisor
- Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels, including networking, online marketing, and industry events
- Proposal Development: Develop and present compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and terms with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements
- Sales Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to support their efforts and ensure successful sales outcoumes
- Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes
- Reporting: Track and report on business development activities, key performance indicators (KPI's), and progress towards goals
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience: Five (5) years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
- Skills:
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Micosoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
