Position Overview:
A well established irrigation sales and service provider in Montana is seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing and repairing agricultural irrigation systems, including center pivots and pump controls. Key Responsibilities:
- Heavily emphasize getting to work and travel around Central Montana
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair center pivot irrigation systems and pump controls
- Perform maintenance and service on a variety of agricultural irrigation equipment
- Utilize GPS and electrical system knowledge for efficient repairs
- Manage time effectively and work independently in the field
- Follow company safety and operational standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Farm/agricultural background with strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience with electrical components, pump controls, or welding is a plus but not required
- Clean driving record is mandatory
- Must be able to work outdoors under various weather conditions
