**Job Description:
We're looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Safety and Loss Prevention Intern. In this role, you'll work closely with our Safety Manager and other members of the Plant Leadership team to ensure plant compliance with all rules and regulations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Helping to ensure safe building and equipment upkeep
- Modeling and providing training on safe behavior for all employees
- Drafting efficient policies and procedures
- Collecting data to determine the effectiveness of implemented process improvements
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have the following qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree or Master's program in Occupational, Environmental Safety & Health; Risk Management; or related program as a candidate for graduation
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, and field-specific software
