SEASONAL LABORATORY ASSISTANT
AgSource is looking for a Seasonal Lab Assistant to assist with accurately preparing, conducting and reporting sample analyses according to approved standard operating procedures (SOP) and quality control guidelines as well as ensure testing services are conducted within anticipated laboratory turn-times during our seasonal spikes.
The hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30pm. These hours can be more flexible as needed. This is an immediate opening and is expected to be needed through end of May 2025.

Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare sample analyses according to laboratory SOP for designated tests to ensure quality results.
- Calibrate basic laboratory instrumentation according to laboratory SOP.
- Thoroughly complete appropriate documentation.
- Report results of analysis in a timely manner according to standard laboratory turn-times.
- Perform routine laboratory procedures such as, cleaning of labware and laboratory workspaces.
- Promote and adhere to safety in the workplace.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Follow safe work procedures and report unsafe conditions and injuries immediately.
- Inspect own work area and take approved remedial action to minimize or eliminate hazards.
- Complete required safety training assignments, forms and paperwork.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
- Detail orientated nature.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Scheduling flexibility and ability to work overtime as needed based on workflow and deadlines.
