Feed Operations Supervisor Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Feed Operations Supervisor to join our team at AgState. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating feed department personnel and operations, with a focus on optimizing market share and improving efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate feed department personnel and operations
- Hire and train employees, plan, assign, and direct work
- Reward and discipline employees, address complaints and resolve problems
- Ensure quality standards meet or exceed customers' expectations
- Cordinate daily schedule to expedite custom mixing and grinding
- Monitor employee performance and ensure all employees comply and operate location equipment in a safe manner and safety policies are being followed
Requirements
- Valid state motor vehicle operator's license and good driving record preferred
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills and ability to communicate effectively and prioritize tasks
- Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment
