Job Title: Seed Production Operator
We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Seed Production Operator to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the operation of various equipment used in the seed conditioning process, ensuring smooth and efficient operations to meet production goals and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate seed conditioning and processing equipment safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime.
- Perform regular quality checks, documenting results accurately to ensure product standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a safe environment for all team members.
- Thoroughly clean and maintain equipment between processing runs to uphold product integrity.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure reliable operation.
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings to optimize performance throughout the production season.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Perform other duties as directed by the department supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets.
- Familiarity with seed conditioning equipment and general maintenance is a plus, but not required.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, including climbing stairs and ladders.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and company policies for quality control.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
