Job Description Summary
Responsible for the direction and overall management of the Budget Analysis and Revenue Audit departments. Will direct analysis projects, supervise the data collection and prepare summaries and recommendations based on the data. Oversees and manages and coordinates the operational audit activities of the casinos and hotel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (for both SRC and ACCRS and other duties may be assigned)
- Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools.
- Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the analysis department.
- Manage the reparation of all operating and exception reports of all departments and monitors compliance with operating and regulatory procedures.
- Implements proper controls in: (a) operational reporting, (b) accounting procedures with detail audit trail, (c) internal control procedures in compliance with NIGS MICS, (e) confidentiality of all related information and documentation, and (f) maintenance and management of the financial budget.
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purpose
- Responsible for operational accounting staff including revenue accounting for casino, hotel and food and beverage operations, revenue/cash receipts, accounts receivable and count team.
- Maintain all fiscal budget reports
- Direct staff in the development, analysis and preparation of reports to meet deadlines and goals.
- Works closely with hotel operations to provide tracking, redemption, and revenue generation for hotel specific analysis programs.
- Assist staff to resolve complex operational problems.
- Provides excellent guest service to both guest and internal clients.
- Must comply with all applicable ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures and all Tribal Regulations.

Qualifications
Required Education and/or Experience
- Degree in Business Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Previous accounting management experience, office or controller in a hotel/resort or gaming industry for a minimum of 7 years.
- Strong leadership skills required. Experience in gaming industry preferred.
- Must have thorough knowledge of accounting principles and be competent in the preparation of accounting statements and reports.
- Experience Implementing and working with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports preferred
- Must be competent in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary with strong computer application skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPivot and PowerPoint skills.
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment.
Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
