Greater Washington, DC

Contract - 36-month

Must able to travel to DC, Hanover (MD), & Alexandria (VA)

Are you a Windows Server Pro with Azure expertise? We re looking for a System Administrator to support a large-scale data center environment for WMATA across DC, MD & VA!

What You ll Do:
Maintain Windows Server (2008R2, 2016), SQL Server (2014/2019), IIS, ColdFusion, & Node.js
Manage 15 production servers across multiple data centers
Perform monthly security patching using IBM BigFix
Maintain & troubleshoot Active/Passive Azure servers
Travel locally to client sites as needed

What You ll Bring:
5-10 years of server maintenance & administration experience
Strong expertise in Windows Server & Azure operations
Familiarity with highly available, load-balanced environments
Ability to troubleshoot & manage failovers

Bonus Points For:
Experience with Trapeze Trip Planning Engine (ATIS)
Knowledge of VM-based environments
