We are in search of an HR Project Analyst II (internally known as HR Operations Analyst II) to join our Human Resources department in Spokane, Washington (Headquarters). This full-time position reports to the VP, Compensation and Payroll and supports effective human resource operations through the administration of select systems and processes and coordinates the master calendar of HR initiatives and associated key communications.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule and one-time home office stipend after initial training period.

Compensation Information

The base salary range for this position in Spokane, Washington is:

Level II: $64,600 - $97,500; bonus at target is 10% of salary.

Job Requirements

  • Operate in a project coordination capacity to ensure successful completion of assigned projects.
  • Support HR leadership by creating and maintaining department project roadmaps, milestone tracking, and communication timelines and deliverables across multiple communication channels.
  • Coordinate implementation of business process and/or technical solutions that improve department efficiencies and employee experience; coordinate follow up actions with appropriate team.
  • Coordinate with HR department leadership to regularly evaluate organizational needs relative to HR systems; execute or coordinate resources for modifications in the design when appropriate.
  • Manage HR vendor relationships in collaboration with user subject matter experts and AgWest’s vendor management team, to include selection processes, implementation, troubleshooting, contract renewals and regular reviews.
  • Coordinate content management and scheduling in collaboration with subject matter experts for posting on internal communications channels to share information on HR initiatives and processes and promote resources.
  • Create high-quality written and graphical deliverables for employee consumption, and management review and action.
  • Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Generally, requires two or more year's professional experience balancing multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong desire and aptitude for learning new computer systems and software applications
  • Ability to quickly learn HR practices, processes, and procedures and identify improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment in ambiguous situations
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization and with external parties (legal counsel, vendors, etc.)
  • Ability to synthesize information from a variety of sources and translate into actionable items and timelines
  • Ability to demonstrate consistent, effective communication skills
  • Ability to create written communication that is concise, professional and appropriate to context
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Requirements

  • HRIS and reporting experience
  • Knowledge of project management concepts
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis
  • General knowledge of HR processes and practices
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across different systems
  • Prior experience learning new systems
