We are in search of a Loan Review Specialist I, II, or III to join our Loan and Lien Documentation department in Tempe, Arizona. This full-time position reports to the Director, Loan Review and is performing quality control review, document preparation, and analysis of basic loan and loan servicing submissions.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule and one-time home office stipend after initial training period.
Compensation Information
The base salary range for this position in Tempe, Arizona is:
Level I: $43,100 - $64,600; bonus at target is 6% of salary.
Level II: $47,200 - $70,800; bonus at target is 6% of salary.
Level III: $52,300 - $79,00; bonus at target is 8% of salary.

Job Requirements
- Evaluate new loan and loan servicing requests and submissions, following established procedures and using acquired knowledge, to ensure the compliance and legal enforceability of loan paper and perfection of collateral on secured loans and loan servicing.
- Review and interpret legal and ancillary of collateral documentation provided with the loan requests, including access and right of way related agreements, water rights documentation, easements, leases, licenses and permits pertaining to real property to identify any existing or potential issues.
- Review and analyze organizational documentation of business entities (such as corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, etc.) and trust agreements to identify any material issues that may impact loans; work with branch staff to remedy issues.
- Identify and remedy issues reflected on title insurance.
- Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to develop a functional understanding of the loan review process, including a solid knowledge base of loan products and guidelines, association policies and procedures, and origination software specifications
- Ability to develop a solid understanding of real property and personal property collateral documentation and perfection
- Attention to detail when analyzing loan packages and preparing loan documentation
- Mortgage lending, application/loan processing, title and/or law firm experience
- Understanding of real property and person property collateral documentation and perfection
