If you have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, at least 4 years of applied engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, and leadership experience , AGY wants to hear from you!

Minimum requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical engineering or Electrical engineering
• At least 4 years of applied engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Leadership experience with technical and craft labor workforces
• PC literate (AGY network, intranet, Microsoft office suite). Must be/become proficient with maintenance systems EAM

• Technical maintenance engineering knowledge
• Practical knowledge of plant waste streams and environmental systems compliance
• Demonstrated ability to effectively organize, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Leadership and interpersonal skills to coach and communicate with technical and craft labor.

Essential duties/responsibilities:

• Leads/manages all aspects of the Aiken Plant Maintenance function.
• Responsible for leading maintenance engineering and craft labor resources to meet established goals and objectives.
• Principle accountabilities include effective plant maintenance programs to ensure the proper installation, operation and reliability of all plant production and utility equipment, developing and implementing department budgets, plant environmental systems compliance, implementation of safety programs.
• Partner with production leader and resources to achieve plant operational and corporate goals.
