Job Duties
The Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment, including inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Assist in the planning, layout, and installation of new electrical and mechanical systems.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and safety in the workplace.
- Train and mentor other technicians as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including hours worked, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Certifications in electrical and mechanical maintenance (e.g., OSHA, EPA) preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications quickly.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme temperatures.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
