Bring your exceptional talents to the premier award winning team at Horn Barbecue--a Michelin Guide restaurant opening soon in Elk Grove. Immediate availability. Must have experienced working with an or all of the following: live fire cooking, wood cooking, working with proteins, smoking meats.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Big energy, personable, with winning smile
- Adept at handling knives, cutting, prep skills
- ServeSafe or Food Handler Permit
- Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes a plus
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Works well in a respectful, disciplined, high energy, positive team environment
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
