AHEAD is hiring a Manufacturing Manager to join our new facility in Libertyville, IL! The Manufacturing Manager will plan, organize, evaluate, and control the operations within manufacturing safely and effectively.
This is a first shift position, 7 : 30am - 4 : 00pm Monday through Friday
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the manufacturing team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Monitor and analyze production metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to ensure production targets are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, supply chain, and quality assurance, to drive process improvements and resolve operational issues
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and practices to streamline operations and reduce waste
- Oversee equipment maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure uninterrupted production
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, employee engagement, and professional development
- Resolve personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in manufacturing management

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
