Position Overview
We are seeking a Package Machine Operator to join our team in Buda, TX. This position is responsible for operating packaging machinery, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor packaging machines to ensure efficient production.
- Inspect products for quality and consistency before packaging.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace by following company safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Complete documentation related to production and packaging processes.
- Full-time, non-exempt hourly position - eligible for overtime pay after 40 hours in a workweek.
- Standard work hours: Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines and business demands.
- Employees will be notified in advance of any additional hours and will be compensated accordingly for all overtime worked.
- Previous experience in machine operation or manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
