Storeroom Supervisor responsibility including the following:
- Must follow Ahlstrom’s safety, manufacturing and hygiene processes, procedures and policies, as applicable to the position’s areas of responsibility, in order to meet and maintain the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements for each grade of paper.
- Ensure all storeroom activities are conducted in a manner consistant with maintaining the highest possible British Retail Consortium Global Standards (BRCGS) rating
- Supervise, schedule, mentor, and storeroom personnel.
- Manage order receipt, stocking and issue processes of inventoried and non-inventoried items.
- Oversee materials management tasks for RM, including weekly inventory, ordering, retrieving, and offloading.
- Assist with inventory control, including daily cycle counts, month-end and year-end reconciliation and reporting.
- Create new item numbers for MRO capital projects and maintenance needs. Update existing item numbers to align with the company’s path forward.
- Validate excess and obsolete materials.
- Source replacement parts and materials when an item is found to be obsolete or otherwise unavailable.
- Administer the repair and warranty process
- Assist with the return process for inbound and outbound parts.
- Assist in documenting storeroom processes and procedures.
- Manage inquiries about parts availability and delivery, as well as oversee the delivery procedure that provides items to different areas of the mill.
