Overview
Monterey Park Hospital, located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is a 101 bed acute care community hospital. Monterey Park Hospital has provided our community with advanced medical and culturally sensitive healthcare services for over 50 years. Monterey Park Hospital is recruiting for a LVN for our MedSurg Department. This is a full time, 12 hour, night shift position.
Responsibilities
The MedSurg LVN provides care, treatment, counseling and health education to the MedSurg Unit. The LVN is responsible for planning and coordination of care across the continuum.
Qualifications
A. Minimum Education: Accredited LVN nursing school.
B. Minimum Experience: New graduate or 6 months experience in an acute care hospital preferred.
C. Required Certification/Registration Current LVN license from State of California, California state intravenous therapy certification. Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS. Preferred successful completion of basic EKG course.
