Administrate and maintain pharmacy software applications that are used in Brand pharmacies to provide patient safety, regulatory compliance, superior customer service and optimal financial performance. Lead the evaluation and user acceptance testing of pharmacy applications to ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, financial integrity and efficient customer service. Participate in the technical work associated with application upgrades, implementations of new systems or applications and develop required retail communications to support such events. Develop and manage processes to evaluate the stability and safety of the pharmacy applications and improve the performance of pharmacy applications. Develop and facilitate reporting for pharmacy operations, regulatory bodies and departmental needs as required. Serve as the organizational subject matter expert on pharmacy technology and applications deployed in Brand pharmacies.
**Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include: Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME

Essential job functions:

Maintain expert level knowledge of all Pharmacy Applications and thorough knowledge of Brand Pharmacy Operations.
- Responsible for final validation of the integrity of all Pharmacy application upgrades prior to retail implementation after leading successful testing.
- Provide and maintain second level and emergency support for pharmacy system applications.
- Develop and communicate retail training documentation for all application changes and upgrades.
- Maintain relationships with vendors to implement specific improvements regarding application stability and performance, and Service Level Agreements.
- Monitor and evaluate technological advances regarding pharmacy systems and applications and leverage these advances in support of organizational strategies.
- Execute compliance and regulatory reporting requirements facilitated by pharmacy applications.
- Participate in the review of application issues and in weekly meetings with pharmacy application vendors.
- Coordinate the execution of all pharmacy application upgrades including retail communication and verification of stability.
- Conduct quarterly user access reviews for all pharmacy applications in order to meet internal policies and compliance regulations.
- Leads regular training sessions for Retail Pharmacy trainers via conference calls and/or webinars.
- Log and prioritize vendor related issues discovered during application testing and/or reported by retail pharmacy staff.

Associate's Degree preferred
- 2-4 years' experience
- Pharmacy experience preferred
