Job Description
AHRC NYC is currently seeking Residential Managers (RM) for their Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island Group Home residences.
Salary: $64,500 per year plus a high quality, comprehensive benefit package...see Benefit information below.
Position Description:
- Assumes overall responsibilities for the smooth operation of the residence.
- Ensures ongoing compliance and quality assurance with State and Federal regulations pertinent to the operation of the residence to which he/she is assigned.
- Provides direct supervision of direct support staff assigned to the residence under his/her jurisdiction.
- Collaborates with the management team to create a program of services for each resident, and assigns the tasks of each member of the direct support team.
- Participates in comprehensive service planning activities with outside agencies for each resident under his/her jurisdiction.
Qualifications
- Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) Required.
- Experience as a supervisor in a residential setting Preferred.
- Knowledge of OPWDD regulations Required.
- Valid NYS or Tri- state driver's license for more than one year is Required
- Must be willing to work flexible schedule including one day of each weekend.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required, Bachelors Preferred.
