Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a mentor and role model for newly hired nurses and nursing students.
- Designing, delivering, and evaluating educational curricula.
- Facilitate the orientation process, providing hands-on training and support to ensure new nurses transition smoothly into their roles.
- Develop individualized education plans tailored to the needs of each nurse.
- Evaluate the performance and progress of preceptees, offering constructive feedback and guidance.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and education teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and policies.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise and adherence to evidence-based practices in patient care.

Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Education is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- Previous experience as a preceptor, mentor, or educator preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
