Job Description
This Pharmacy Technician position plays a vital role in supporting licensed pharmacists with various tasks related to medication preparation, distribution, and administration. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately prepare, dispense, and distribute medications, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Assist pharmacists with the preparation of compounded medications, sterile products, and IV solutions.
- Maintain accurate patient medication records and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
- Retrieve and organize medication supplies and inventory, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and documentation.
