Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care in an independent family-owned retail pharmacy. This position requires a strong and pharmacy operations, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns related to medications.
• Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Support the administration of medications under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
• Participate in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• and pharmacy practices is highly desirable.
• Experience in acute care or critical care settings is a plus, particularly with medication administration and IV infusion processes.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care are essential for success in this role.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
