Paraeducator - Primary Grades

AHSTW Community School District is currently accepting applications for hte postion of paraeducator in our primary building.  We hope you have interest in joining our team of staff members in our efforts to enhance our students education.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma
2. Experience working with children preferred
3. Paraprofessional certification, may be obtained after start of employment

Essential Functions of the Position:

1. Ability to communicate feedback to staff members in relation to student successes and challenges in their learning or behaviors.
2. Willingness to learn instructional strategies to assist students in their learning.
3. Ability to develop skills designed to reduce student behaviors
4. Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
5. Paraprofessional certification, may be obtained after start of employment
6. Ability to maintain confidentially
7. Promote a positive and professional image of the district at all times.
