We are seeking a Legal Recruiting Assistant to join our regional office in the Northeastern United States. This role is a vital part of the Human Resources and Talent Management Department, supporting the organization's legal recruitment initiatives. The Legal Recruiting Assistant will collaborate closely with the Director and Manager of Legal Recruiting to execute administrative tasks related to recruitment processes, ensuring seamless operations. Key responsibilities include database management, interview scheduling, and program coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the recruitment database (e.g., LawCruit), including tracking open positions and managing applicant data entry.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews for candidates at various levels of recruitment.
- Review, verify, and process expense reports to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Proofread and edit recruiting documents, job postings, and related materials.
- Collaborate with the Legal Recruiting Specialist to support and execute the organization's Summer Associate Program.
- Provide general administrative support to the Legal Recruiting team as needed.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced corporate environment, preferably in recruiting.
- Prior experience in a law firm or legal department is preferred but not required.
Special Requirements:
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Familiarity with recruitment databases, such as LawCruit, is highly desirable.
