Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Managing Director of Investor Relations & Fundraising to spearhead our strategic investor engagement initiatives. This executive will lead efforts to attract, engage, and retain investors across diverse channels, enhancing AIIP’s presence and trust among limited partners (LPs). The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision and a proven track record in private equity fund sales, excelling in relationship-building with UHNWIs, family offices, RIAs, and institutional investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies that align with AIIP’s growth objectives.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with existing LPs while expanding the network to include new investors across UHNWIs, family offices, RIAs, and institutional channels.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investor communications, ensuring transparent, timely, and impactful updates.
- Lead presentations, meetings, and exclusive events tailored for investors, showcasing AIIP’s investment thesis, performance, and vision.
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Partners and cross-functional teams to align investor strategies with the firm’s overarching business goals.
- Oversee the preparation and dissemination of high-quality investor reports, updates, and marketing materials.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of market trends and competitive landscapes to refine investor strategies and deliver targeted insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting standards, maintaining the highest levels of integrity and transparency.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in investor relations and fundraising, with a strong focus on private equity or asset management.
- Demonstrated success in securing significant investments from UHNWIs, family offices, and institutional investors, with an established network across these segments.
- Experience in leading investor relations teams and managing complex fundraising campaigns.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a persuasive, confident approach.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset, capable of crafting innovative engagement solutions.
- Strong analytical abilities to tailor investor pitches and strategies that align with specific investor preferences and market dynamics.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, CFA) preferred.
