Role Overview

As an Analyst — Marketing at TechEquity Ai, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and optimizing marketing events that promote our brand, products, and services. This volunteer position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for creating engaging experiences that resonate with target audiences and drive organizational growth.

This role is structured for at least 25 hours per week for a minimum of four months, with the option to extend.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for individuals who excel in dynamic environments. While a volunteer position, it upholds the high standards of Silicon Valley’s tech and nonprofit sector. We seek independent, resourceful problem-solvers with relevant experience who are ready to apply their knowledge and take on multiple responsibilities to support the team. Success in this role requires adaptability, initiative, independence and a willingness to step in where needed. This opportunity is not structured as a training program; it is an opportunity to engage in high-impact work, gain real-world exposure in a results-driven AI and technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement comprehensive event marketing strategies that align with the organization’s objectives and target audience.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to plan and execute events, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Promote events through various marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, and direct outreach, to maximize attendance and engagement.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, venues, and sponsors to secure necessary resources and partnerships for successful events.
  • Manage event logistics, such as scheduling, budgeting, and on-site coordination, to ensure efficient and effective event execution.
  • Oversee the creation of promotional materials and content that effectively communicate event value propositions and drive interest.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team to develop lead generation plans and ensure events contribute to the organization’s revenue goals.
  • Analyze event performance metrics and gather attendee feedback to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor events to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in event marketing or a similar role, with a proven track record of successful event planning and execution.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and analytics software.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative event concepts and overcome challenges.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality experiences for attendees.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrating self-motivation and effective time management.
