AIG's underwriters help to find insurance solutions for risks from a range of areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients and High Net Worth individuals.
How you will create an impact
The primary responsibility of the BSS Analyst involves supporting maintenance activities related to Casualty policy issuance systems. The Analyst will report directly to policy insuance systems business owner. Analysts work on a team sharing responsibilities for meeting timeline and quality targets. This includes monitoring team workloads and coordinating testing efforts among other team members.
Responsibilities
- Monitor bureau-published circulars and AIG independent filings to determine systems impact and plan implementations.
- Work with other departments, such as State Filings and Actuarial, to ensure AIG properly files and adopts proposed changes.
- Coordinate updates across application and document teams to ensure policy documents are correctly produced.
- Participate in scheduled meetings regarding application updates to identify and test all changes from delivery to implementation.
- Maintain proper documentation and tracking information to ensure all proposed changes are successfully resolved.
- Produce reports of pending items and anticipated impacts of any delays to keep management informed of possible problems.
- Assist with market conduct exams when needed.
