JOB SUMMARY:

Accounting Clerk responsibilities include preparing customer invoices via QuickBooks, paying office bills, and performing various administrative tasks. You are also required to perform other work related duties as instructed.

An ideal candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, be reliable, able to prioritize, pays great attention to detail. Will be willing to train the incumbent on the related tasks if lacking in previous lab experience.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for all tasks related to Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables
  • Manage our New location in Louisville, Kentucky.
  • Responsible for growth in productivity and profitablilty at the new locaiton
  • Prepare timely invoices via Quickbooks and send to customers
  • Ensures timely payment and recording of office vendor bills
  • Perform other office related administrative tasks
  • Perform various work duties as instructed
  • Must be comfortable working in a laboratory setting
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Knowledge of Quick books & Microsoft Excel with at least 2 years experience
  • Previous accounts payable and receivables experience
  • Should be willing to undergo training in the laboratory for lab related tasks.
  • Skills: Strong work ethic and understanding of confidentiality. Highly organized, self-motivated and pro-active

· Four year college degree preferred

· A minimum 5 Year of experience as a bookkeeper or an accountant

· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

· State Drivers license and good driving record Preferred not required.

· Ability to operate a motor vehicle of van size for deliveries and pick-ups for extended periods of time.

· Ability to use software applications including MS Word and Excel to perform Data Entry

· The ability to provide excellent customer service and handle client telephone calls in a courteous manner

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Must have accurate data entry skills

· A minimum typing speed of 40-45 WPM

· The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

· Must have strong problem solving skills

· Requires a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Fluent and professional in use of the English language

  • Job Type: Part-Time (2 Positions) (1 Full time position)
  • Background Check: The incumbent should be authorized to work in United States and should be willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations

Qualifications:

· Four year college degree preferred

· A minimum 1 Year of experience in a Customer Service position

· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

· State Drivers license and good driving record Preferred not required.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

· Requires the ability to use computer, keyboard, and operate office equipment.

· Regular activities include frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting and climbing stairs

· Requires close visual acuity for viewing a computer screen and reading, preparing and analyzing data

· Ability to speak, hear, and communicate clearly while handling telephone calls and customer requests

· Requires repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and fingers for typing at a standard keyboard

· The ability to lift 30 pounds on a frequent basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $37.00 per hour
