Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for a Golf Course Greenskeeper to join our opening team!
Summary
The Golf Course Greenskeeper is responsible for performing the daily operations of golf course maintenance under the supervision of the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent.
All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices and procedures.
Job Duties
• Perform all basic operations of golf course maintenance.
• Mow all areas of the golf course.
• Trim, edge and weed as needed.
• Follow all safety regulations and policies.
• Operate all golf course maintenance equipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Combination of education and experience will be considered. Candidate will need to be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Sunseeker Resorts does do criminal background checks.
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Education Details: High School Diploma or equivalent
Years of Experience: Minimum one (1) year of related experience.
Preferred Requirements
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to follow written and oral assignments
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must follow all safety procedures
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment

General Labor Resort - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to walk, stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to perform repetitive motions such as operating cleaning equipment (i.e. Vacuum, floor washing equipment, and laundry machinery) time clock, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, move, transport, or carry up to 100 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to noise (i.e. resort, grounds, restaurant, machinery), temperature (i.e. kitchen, refrigeration, warehouse, outdoor), chemicals (i.e. cleaning solutions and aerosols), dusts, particulates, vapors, fumes, gases, and light fluctuations. Ability to work in open or confined areas.
