Overview
We are seeking a passionate Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adults, possess strong classroom management skills, and be enthusiastic about sharing their love of dance with students.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct dance classes for students of various age groups and skill levels
- Create engaging lesson plans that promote learning and skill development
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their dance techniques
- Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to coordinate performances, recitals, and events
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings
- Knowledge of dance techniques across different styles such as ballet, jazz, tap, or contemporary
- Strong classroom management and behavior management skills
- Ability to tailor instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Certification in dance education or relevant field is a plus
- Previous experience in special education, tutoring, childcare, or preschool settings is advantageous
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
