Job Description :
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Equipment Operator Foreman to join us in Somalia. As the Equipment Operator Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of Equipment Operators while also performing equipment operation duties as needed. You will be responsible for allocating equipment and personnel based on project priorities, coordinating maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety requirements, and fostering effective communication among clients, project personnel, and team members.
Responsibilities :
- Lead a team of Equipment Operators and perform equipment operation duties as required.

- Maintain effective communication with clients, project personnel, and team members to ensure project success.
- Coordinate proper maintenance and repair of assigned equipment to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
- Ensure adherence to safe work practices and compliance with safety requirements at all times.
- Complete all necessary administrative requirements accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform duties of subordinate personnel as required to support project needs.
- Operate light, medium, and some heavy equipment, as well as light to heavy-duty trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties related to project construction, operations, and maintenance activities.
- Operate various equipment including dump trucks, loaders, compactors, backhoes, and related equipment.
- Inspect equipment regularly, report major mechanical issues, and perform minor or emergency repairs as needed.
- Train less skilled workers in the operation and care of equipment to promote a culture of safety and efficiency.
