Job Description
Performs repairs, testing and scheduled maintenance on a variety of both Structural and Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) firefighting apparatus and rescue equipment. Perform examples include, but are not limited to, self-contained breathing apparatus, dive equipment, hydraulic rescue tools, ventilation fans and saws, rescue saws, fire hose, ground ladders and firefighter protective clothing. Other duties as assigned.
Develops preventative maintenance schedules for firefighting and rescue equipment :
Perform Testing and Certifications for the following equipment :
Performs routine inspections and cleaning of protective clothing.
Performs annual :
Fire Extinguishers
Repair and maintenance to Emergency Vehicle Apparatus systems :
