Role: Labor & Employment Associate Attorney
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Compensation: $245k-$285k based upon experience

AimHire is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join our client’s Minneapolis office. The successful candidate will work closely with partners on a wide range of employment litigation matters, including wage and hour collective actions, class actions, single plaintiff cases, and complex advisory matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in employment litigation who is looking to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities:
- Manage single-plaintiff cases and play a substantial role in managing complex litigation
- Collaborating with partners on case strategy and tactics
- Prepare and draft substantial briefs
- Interview witnesses and prepare fact presentations for litigated matters
- Draft discovery requests and responses to discovery requests
- Take and defend depositions
- Conduct legal research and draft research memoranda
- Provide increasingly complex employment law advice and counsel based on experience
- Engage in substantial trial work as required
Qualifications:
- JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Four to six years of employment litigation and counseling experience in a law firm setting
- Minnesota bar admission or ability to become admitted in Minnesota
- A team-oriented approach to the practice of law
- A commitment to diversity and personal professional development
- Excellent analytical and writing skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
