We're looking for a Vice President of Finance who will provide strategic financial leadership and operational oversight for the medical clinic. This position will ensure the clinic's financial health through effective planning, analysis, compliance, and management of resources. As a key member of the executive team, the VP of Finance will play a pivotal role in achieving the clinic’s short- and long-term goals.
Duties / Responsibilities :Develop and implement the clinic’s financial strategies to align with organizational goals.Collaborate with the executive team to drive growth and sustainability.Monitor industry trends and advise on financial risks and opportunities.Financial Operations Management
Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, billing, payroll, accounts receivable / payable, and financial reporting.Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP.Manage cash flow, investments, and capital expenditures to support clinic operations.Revenue Cycle Management
Optimize the revenue cycle process, including patient billing, coding, insurance claims, and collections.Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to improve billing accuracy and reduce denials.Ensure compliance with payer contracts and reimbursement policies.Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure adherence to healthcare financial regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance policies.Lead internal and external audits, ensuring documentation meets regulatory standards.Mitigate financial risks through effective policies and risk management strategies.Budgeting and Cost Management
Develop annual budgets and track performance against financial goals.Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining high standards of patient care.Analyze operational expenses to recommend process improvements and efficiencies.Reporting and Analytics
Provide detailed financial analysis and dashboards to support decision-making.Present financial reports, including KPIs such as net patient revenue, operating margins, and cost per patient visit, to the board and executive team.Develop predictive models for revenue growth and operational expenses.Leadership and Team Management
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Build strong relationships with clinical, administrative, and operational staff to align financial and organizational objectives.Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, and COO / CFO offering data-driven insights to guide decisions.Education / Certifications / LicensesRequiredBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, and an MBA or CPA.Experience10 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within healthcare.5 years of experience in a VP or other senior management role preferred.Proficiency in healthcare financial systems and revenue cycle management tools.Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, including Medicare / Medicaid guidelines, HIPAA, and payer contracts.HL01Job Type : Full-time
