What are the responsibilities and job description for the Geotechnical / Environmental Drillers Helper position at AIMRIGHT Testing & Engineer, LLC?
AIMRIGHT is currently seeking an individual for a full-time position in our Tulsa office to perform geotechnical/environmental subsurface exploration and sampling on projects throughout Oklahoma and other states. Seeking both entry level and experienced position for a person who likes to work outdoors. Previous experience is not required, and training is provided. Tasks include soil and water sample collection, logging of boreholes, and handling drill tooling while working safely around machinery. drilling methods will vary from Auger Drilling, Mud Rotary, Rock Coring, Air Rotary/Hammer, and Casing Advancer
Required:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Valid Driver's License w/ Acceptable DMV Record
* Ability to repetitively lift and carry up to 100 lbs
* Ability to stand, bend, stoop, lift, carry, and walk for long periods to perform physical labor
* Must be willing to work in extreme dry, wet, cold & hot weather conditions
Responsibilities:
- Take an active role in learning the techniques used in the day to day operations
- Assist the Lead Driller in the mobilization of drilling rigs and or support equipment for jobs
- Execute manual labor such as stack drill pipe, shovel drill cuttings, and lifting items
- Perform drilling activities such as digging, drilling, and extracting samples
- Perform maintenance on assigned equipment or vehicles under guidance of Driller / Mechanic
- Perform duties in a safe/responsible manner in accordance with Health and Safety plan and or OSHA
- Perform building and yard maintenance as required
- Wear and maintain Personal Protective Equipment at appropriate times and levels
- Diesel Mechanics is a plus
- Commercial class A CDL License is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
